Mini Quests

Mini Quests are a fantastic way to learn a new skill, or explore an interest, while having an adventure. One that you can design, experience and complete in 12 weeks—amidst a full-on work and home life.

If you’re at all curious to explore this, even if you have no idea what you’d choose to focus on, I can help you with:

  • Homing in on your area of interest, and framing your Quest. They don’t have to be word-nerd quests like mine! We’ll dig into your curiosities, including things you may never have considered. E.g. Fashion, music, magic, architecture, languages, philosophy, astronomy…the sky is literally the limit.
  • Picking the right level of challenge for you—a stretch, but way more exciting than terrifying.
  • Making it highly doable amidst your current life, so you’re not trying to wait for some perfect conditions.
  • Designing it intentionally, so that you can enjoy the challenge.
  • Keeping your approach Questful—so that you love the journey and reach your endpoint.

I’m happy to customise to suit you, but what has worked well for previous Questers is:

  • I’ll be your Quest Coach for this 12-week period. (All calls and contact will be directly with me.)
  • This includes a Quest design call and your own personalised Quest kit. These will help you to frame, enjoy and complete your Quest.
  • Fortnightly check-in calls to keep things fun, get you unstuck, and re-fuel you with inspiration and resources that are perfect for you.
  • Unlimited e-mail support from me, to provide clear and friendly accountability, prompts, and perspective along the way
  • Completion and celebration call. (If you work with me, you will finish your Quest 😊)
  • The cost for this is $1500 USD or £1125 GBP

Everyone who’s worked with me so far has found it an epic challenge to how they’re used to doing things—in a good way! The process cuts against a lot of how we’re schooled, and how we might be used to getting things done as high achievers. It’s a different kind of hard, and it’s waaaay more fun.

Things they’ve said include:

  • Ok, I think you just broke my brain. Can I really do that?
  • You were very nice about it, but thank you for pointing out that…I was missing the point.
  • Ohhhh…I see what you did there. I’d never have thought of that.
  • Yeah, I get it now. I killed my own interest. This looks way better.
  • Whenever I do a session with you, I get so much more energy and creativity.
  • Thank you for your patience and not giving up on me.
  • That is a REALLY good question.
  • I am so excited. So excited.

‘Working with Danielle on two Quests was an exceptional experience. She’s incredibly positive and creative but what surprised me most was her intuition. In moments where the path forward felt unclear she separated the signal from the noise and guided me in a direction that actually mattered and ultimately was most rewarding.’   – E.V.

If you’re curious, I’d recommend booking a call with me. You can meet me, ask any questions, and explore if a Quest might be for you.

PS: I’m not at all scary. You can get a sense of what kind of nerd I am here. And you can see a recent example of what coaching and support looked like here.

PPS: There’s been a lot of interest from people wanting to work with me on versions of the Quests I’ve completed. Here’s where you can find out more about doing The Fun Four as part of a Questful year.

'Say the word 'quest' out loud. It is an extraordinary word, isn't it?
So small and yet so full of wonder, so full of hope.'
