Sabbatical Quests

Are you considering or planning an extended break (3-12 months), whether as a sabbatical, career break, or post-exit what’s-next?

If so, I can help you design and enjoy a Quest. Perfect for rebuilding energy, attention and curiosity, while focusing on your unique interests.

I’ll be your collaborative partner and coach, throughout the process, to keep you intentional: to help you reflect, take action, have fun, and overcome obstacles. (I have completed multiple extended Quests myself.)

For many of my clients, who have excelled in demanding careers, they really need support to go back to being a beginner, take creative risks, and have fun without it feeling self-indulgent. Working with me, you’ll get a great balance of structure + freedom, support + warm challenge.

I’ll also make sure that you love how you’re spending your time, and that it doesn’t slip away from you. Sound good?

What support looks like

I’ll help you design and commit to an extended Quest (or a series of Quests) that makes sense for you.

  • We’ll start with a fun, but thorough, design phase—so that you can explore what’s sparking your interest. (E.g. Writing, fashion, music, magic, architecture, history, languages, food, philosophy, astronomy…the sky is literally the limit.) Plus how to shape or combine these into the kind of adventure you may never have considered!
  • We’ll test, review, and calibrate so you’re getting the right level of challenge for you.
  • You’ll have my ongoing support, in a cadence that makes sense for your needs and circumstances.  (Via coaching and check-in calls, e-mails or messages.)
  • I’ll be there to encourage you, challenge you, and get you unstuck. That way you’ll build consistency and momentum in the areas that you want. So much growth! So much fun!
  • I’ll be your sole point of contact, to make sure that your approach stays Questful. (The good kind of hard. The kind that is rewarding and delights you.)
  • Prices start at $2000 USD or £1500 GBP  for a 3-month period.

If you’re considering this, then please do book a call so you can meet me, ask your questions, and see if this would be a good fit for you.

P.S. There’s been a lot of interest from people wanting to work with me on versions of the Quests I’ve completed. Here’s where you can find out more about doing The Fun Four as part of a Questful year.
